Revitalizing Our Y:
Complete Guide to Our Locker Room Renovation

Exciting transformations are underway at our Y! We are excited to announce a renovation project aimed at revitalizing our locker room facilities. This endeavor is more than just a facelift; it's a commitment to enhancing the member experience and meet the evolving needs of our community.

The project will completed in several phases, each designed to minimize disruption while maximizing improvements. Join us as we embark on this exciting journey, and watch as our YMCA transforms into an even more inviting space for all our members.

Phase 1: Laying the Groundwork

The first phase of the project has been a small construction project in what will become the new women's locker rooms. When finished this new area will provide users of the locker room with more space in both the changing areas, counters, and showers.

Phase 2: Opening and Closing

The second phase of the project will see the opening of the new women's locker room, and the closing of the current men's locker room. During this time what was the women's locker room will become the temporary men's locker room. Construction and demolition preparation will take place in what was the men's locker room during this time.

Phase 3: Major Construction
Begins Monday, January 22

The third phase of the project sees the biggest changes happen. The temporary men's locker room will shut down, during which time there will be no designed men's locker room. Men looking for showers/changing area will have to use the universal changing rooms located outside the pool on the first floor. We apologize for this inconvenience. During this phase walls will be removed that separated the men's and women's locker rooms, creating a much larger and useable space for members.

Phase 4: Completion

The fourth and final phase sees the opening of the newly expanded men's locker room.
