The YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program helps adults at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes adopt and maintain healthy lifestyles by eating healthier, increasing physical activity and losing a modest amount of weight in order to reduce their chances of developing the disease.

When: Begins Thursday August 28 | 1:30-2:30 PM
Where: Downtown YMCA 4th floor conference room
Qualifications: A prediabetes diagnosis or a score of 5 or higher on the prediabetes risk assessment https://www.cdc.
Fee: $42/ month for members $54/ month for non-members. Y membership included. Financial assistance available
