Body Alignment Workshop for Parents & Guardians
Parenting takes strength—lifting little ones, carrying backpacks, and keeping up with busy schedules. If you’ve ever felt tension in your shoulders or back after a long day with kids, this workshop is for you.
The Whatcom Family YMCA is excited to offer a Body Alignment Workshop for Parents and Guardians, led by Caroline Snijder, one of our dedicated volunteers and an experienced bodyworker, yoga teacher, Nutritious Movement® Restorative Exercise Specialist, and mom of two.
What You’ll Learn
This medium-intensity workshop focuses on helping parents move with greater ease and strength in everyday life.
Caroline will guide participants through practical techniques for building strong alignment when lifting, carrying, and caring for children, while also releasing tension in commonly overworked areas like the shoulders and upper back.
You’ll leave with simple movement strategies that can help you feel stronger, reduce strain, and bring more comfort to your daily routine.
