There’s no better time to show up, move your body, and celebrate community than right now. To mark the YMCA’s 175th anniversary, the Whatcom Family YMCA is inviting members to join our Group Fitness Challenge, and earn a chance to win a limited-edition 175th Anniversary Pom Pom Beanie along the way.

How the Group Fitness Challenge Works

Joining is easy, fun, and designed to keep you motivated:

1. Pick up a tracker
Grab a paper attendance tracker at the Welcome Center or in the Healthy Living/Wellness Office.

2. Show up and move
Each time you attend a group fitness class, write down the date and class name on your tracker, then ask your instructor to initial it to confirm your attendance.

3. Complete 10 classes
Once you’ve attended 10 group fitness classes by February 28, turn in your completed tracker to any instructor.

All completed trackers will be entered into a drawing, and winners will be selected on March 2.

Group fitness at the Y is about more than just a workout, it’s about energy, encouragement, and connection. You’ll find classes for all interests and fitness levels, plus a welcoming community that shows up for one another. And this challenge is a great excuse to try something new, build a routine, and celebrate everything that makes the Y the feel-good place to be.
