National Falls Awareness Week
September 18–22

“Balance is a perishable skill.”  Dr. Katharine Forth

The not-so-great news is that if you are not working on your balance, you are probably beginning to lose some of the skill.  The very good news is that, with regular practice, you can maintain or improve your balance skills and we are here to help you!  To celebrate National Falls Awareness Week, we have a 5-day line-up of activities and classes including:

  • Monday, September 18
    • Virtual Balance Class, 10-10:45am
  • Tuesday, September 19
    • Balance at Home Workshop, 10am, YMCA
  • Wednesday, September 20
    • Eric Short-Miller, DPT, Fyzical 9:30-11:30am
      • Come join us and try the balance platform that measures your stability
  • Thursday, September 21
  • Friday, September 22
    • In-person Balance, 11:15am, YMCA
