Weather alert for Friday, January 19
As of 8pm on Thursday, January 18, tomorrow on Friday, January 19, the Y will have a delayed opening time at 8am, with regular closing time of 9pm.
All fitness classes, swim lessons, climbing classes, and youth sports are cancelled. ”Live” virtual classes are cancelled, please take advantage of our prerecorded on demand classes.
Please keep an eye on our website and social media for any changes as the weather is ongoing.

BASE "Snow Day" available at the Y from 8:30-4pm. Space is limited and in-person registration is first come first serve. DSHS accepted.
Teen Center: Downtown Drop-in Center: Open 1:30-6:30pm

Important Announcement for Whatcom County YMCA Members: Due to the current severe weather conditions, including ice and snow across Whatcom County, we have made the decision to preemptively close all our facilities tomorrow, Thursday, January 18. This closure affects all programs, including early learning, before and after school care, and youth programming, to ensure the safety of our members and staff.
We encourage you to continue your fitness journey by accessing our range of on-demand live classes available on our Virtual Y webpage. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Please stay safe and warm during this period.
