If you’ve ever left a workout feeling tight, sore, or wondering if your posture could use a little help, this workshop is for you.

The Whatcom Family YMCA is excited to offer a free for members Body Alignment Workshop led by Caroline Snijder, one of our dedicated volunteers and a highly experienced bodyworker, yoga teacher, and Nutritious Movement® Restorative Exercise Specialist.

What You’ll Learn

In this introductory workshop, Caroline will guide participants through practical ways to improve posture and reduce everyday aches and pains—without overhauling your entire routine. The focus is on real-life movement solutions that fit into your current workouts and busy schedule, with special attention to relieving and preventing back pain.

Whether you’re new to movement practices or already active, you’ll leave with tools you can use right away.

Childcare Available

If you need childcare during the workshop, Kids Zone is available:

  • YMCA members: included with membership (during Kids Zone hours)

  • Non-members: $10 per child for up to 90 minutes
