Due to Healthy Washington Phase 1 mandates

  • Masks are required at all times in Healthy Washington Phase 1.

  • Participants may only reserve 45-minute workout times.

  • Whatcom Family YMCA members are only able to make reservations

 

We are using the SuperSaas reservation software for all of our areas and classes. Please register in SuperSaas (it is FREE) with your FIRST AND LAST NAME and once registered, you will be able to reserve your spot. We will allow reservations up to 24 hours in advance (just like checking into a flight). 

 

 

Vulnerable Population Hours for the 4th Floor LifeFitness Room:

The Whatcom Family YMCA will offer special hours if you belong to a vulnerable population (immunocompromised and immunosuppressed members). If you do not fit this criteria, please consider adjusting your workout schedule so that we may serve more members safely.

3rd Floor Wellness Center (Weight Room)

We will have 45-minute spots (due to WA State Phase 1 mandates) for you to reserve in our Wellness Center (which includes the gymnasium with Matrix equipment). 

Sections Closed for Cleaning:

Monday - Saturday

  • Matrix & Cardio Equipment:  10:15-11am and 2:45-3:30pm
  • Free Weight Area:  10:45-11:30am and 3:15-4:00pm

4th Floor LifeFitness Room

We will have 45-minute spots (due to WA State Phase 1 mandates) for you to reserve in our 4th Floor LifeFitness Room. 

We have a stationary bike, recumbent bike, rowing machine and NuStep to the LifeFitness equipment room to allow people to warm-up or work out in that space as well.

Pickleball Court Reservations

Please review rules of Pickleball prior to making a reservation:

  • One player makes the reservation and the 2nd player arrives with that individual. Doubles play is not available at this time. One person allowed on each side of the court.
  • Both participants may only be in the facility for 45 minutes, no double booking allowed. 
  • Both players MUST be active Whatcom Family YMCA Members.
  • Players must keep MASKS ON THE ENTIRE TIME
  • Play time is limited to 45-minutes

Court Reservations

Please only ONE person (or household unit) in court at a time for proper social distancing. We will have 45-minute spots (due to WA State Phase 1 mandates) can be reserved up to 24 hours in advance.

Group Fitness Classes

Join our certified Group Fitness instructors for a great workout. Reservations are required and capacity for each class is 5 participants.

Masks are required at all times in Healthy Washington Phase 1 (even while participating in classes).
