Youth Institute works directly with the Whatcom Transportation Authority to provide reliable, safe transportation for our youth. Participants are encouraged to use public transportation to the Downtown YMCA for after school programming. 

*Currently no routes available for Meridian MS, Lynden, Nooksack, and Blaine. 

Meetings with a Travel Trainer from WTA can be scheduled for more specific, individualized routes, or to learn more about our transportation system in Bellingham.
