We’re thrilled to invite you to an exhilarating disco-themed Pedal-a-thon on May 8th at the Whatcom Family YMCA! This special event is designed to bring our community together, get active, and support a fantastic cause—all under the glow of a disco ball. Here’s what you can expect and how you can join the fun:
Event Details:
- What: A fun-filled Pedal-a-thon to raise funds for the Whatcom Family YMCA campaign.
- When: Wednesday, May 8, from 5:40 AM to 8:40 PM.
- Where: Main lobby of the Whatcom Family YMCA.
Join the Fun:
- Hop on a Bike: Feel the energy of the disco era and join in by hopping on a bike! A minimum donation of $1 lets you ride for at least 10 minutes. Join YMCA staff and other members in making those wheels spin for a good cause.
- Extend the Ride: Want to challenge our staff or see them pedal longer? Any donations made while a staff member is riding will add to their time on the bike.

Goals for the Day:
- Mileage Challenge: Together, we aim to hit a goal of 150 miles by day’s end. Every turn of the pedal counts!
- Community Support: This pedal-a-thon isn’t just about fitness; it’s about supporting our community and the programs that make YMCA great.
