Serving Whatcom County since 1890, the Whatcom Family YMCA has been here for generations, creating spaces where people can connect, grow, and belong. Today, that work continues through programs that build health, confidence, and connection for people of all ages.

Healthy Living

We bring people together to improve wellness in spirit, mind, and body, with programs that help people stay active, supported, and connected.

  • 70+ participants in chronic disease prevention and support programs
  • 1,097 youth and adults taught to swim

Youth Development

We help young people build confidence, character, skills, and belonging through programs that support learning, play, and leadership.

  • 1,278 youth in sports and recreation
  • 668 youth experienced camp
  • 880 youth cared for in before and after school programs, plus 240+ in early learning centers
