Elevate Out-of-School Time
The Y is proud to partner with local school districts to support kids beyond the classroom. Through our Before and After-School Enrichment programs, we provide high-quality experiences that keep kids active, engaged, and growing every day.
Our Before and After-School Enrichment offers a safe and welcoming environment where children can explore hands-on learning, build friendships, and have fun. Each day includes a mix of active play, outdoor time, creative projects, and enrichment opportunities that support the whole child.

Why the Y?
At the Y, we're dedicated to helping every child learn, grow, and thrive.
A Place to Belong
BASE is designed for K–5th grade students (6th grade in MBSD), creating a consistent, supportive space where kids feel safe, build confidence, and connect with others.
Curriculum
Our programs use the Y’s SCALED Learning™ curriculum to offer age-appropriate activities in STEM, arts, literacy, and social-emotional development—helping kids explore interests and build skills for school and beyond.
Highly Trained Staff
Our staff create positive, engaging environments where kids feel supported and encouraged. They are trained professionals who bring energy, experience, and a passion for working with youth.
Rooted in Community
We partner with local school districts to offer BASE programs directly in school buildings, giving families a familiar, convenient, and trusted location for care.
Program Benefits
School-age kids spend a large portion of their day outside the classroom. BASE helps make that time meaningful.
Build a Love for Learning
Kids explore new interests through hands-on activities that spark curiosity and creativity.
Grow Social Skills
Through group play and collaboration, children develop communication, empathy, and confidence.
Stay Active & Engaged
Daily movement, outdoor play, and structured activities help kids stay healthy and energized.
A Safe, Supportive Environment
BASE provides peace of mind for families, offering supervised care during critical before and after school hours.
Registration & Financial Assistance
Online registration requires payment at the time of enrollment. Families using third-party subsidies are encouraged to contact our Registrar for assistance with registration.
The Y is committed to making programs accessible for all families. Financial assistance is available, and we accept approved childcare subsidies.
