In Whatcom County, summer is more than sunshine and long days. It’s a season for kids to explore, make new friends, and grow into their best selves. At the Whatcom Family YMCA’s summer day camps, every day brings opportunities to play, learn, and connect in a safe, welcoming environment.

This year, more families than ever are asking for help. Without financial support, many children may miss out on the kind of summer that builds confidence, curiosity, and lifelong memories.

Every child deserves a summer full of joy. Whether it’s their first time swimming, learning a new skill, or just being part of a team, these experiences matter. And you can make them possible.

Here's how your gift makes an impact:

  • $75 provides a child with essential swim lessons and water safety skills

  • $150 covers half the cost of camp so a child can try a new sport or build confidence

  • $250 enrolls one camper in an outdoor recreation camp that encourages imagination and exploration

  • $350 funds a full week of Adventure Camp, giving kids a safe, engaging place to be while parents work

  • $500 supports a teen in our Youth Institute, a program that creates pathways to a brighter future

Your support gives children in our community the chance to unplug, connect, and grow this summer.

Thank you for standing with the Whatcom Family YMCA. Together, we can give every child a summer to remember.
