Join us weekly on Wednesdays in July and August for a friendly, social walk around the city! It's a great opportunity for older adults to meet new people or reconnect with familiar faces while enjoying the outdoors. Destinations will be announced on the day of the walk.
Y Outside AOA Social Walks
We will meet in the Lobby of the Whatcom Family YMCA on State Street, then head out for a moderately paced walk around town. No special equipment needed other than comfortable footwear, dress for the weather, and a water bottle to stay hydrated.
Days: Wednesdays
Dates: July 8, 15, 22 and 29 and August 5, 12, 19 and 26
Time: 2:00–3:00 pm
Location: Meet in the Lobby of the Whatcom Family YMCA on State Street
Cost: Free to members and non-members, but registration is required.
