Giving our middle school campers a place to belong! Challengers Camp will be full of adventures, learning new skills, and learning healthy lifestyle habits.

Our middle schoolers will learn about the different dimensions of the community, explore nature, and practice our YMCA Core Values: Honesty, Caring, Respect and Responsibility.

Each designated age group will take daily fields to Bellingham School District's Gordon Carter Conservation Site, local parks, swimming at the Y and more.

• AGE GROUPS: Middle Schoolers entering 6th - 8th grades in Fall 2025
• DATES: June 16 - August 19 (No camp June 19, or July 4)*
• TIMES: 8:30am-4:30pm Main Camp Hours
  • Drop-off | 7:30-8:45am (children must be at camp by 9am to participate in all activities)
  • Pick-up | 4:30-6pm
• LOCATION: Alderwood & Happy Valley**
