HOOP IT UP

Basketball programs for ages 4-12 years.  Youth basketball is an exciting sport combining team play and individual skills. YMCA youth basketball has no bench warmers! Every child plays while making friends and learning new techniques. The YMCA is where most children receive their first experience with sports in a non-competitive environment. We continue to be that place to nurture the potential of children and provide teamwork opportunities in a fun, supportive way.

WE NEED VOLUNTEER COACHES! SIGN UP HERE!

Basketball Skills Clinics
Through our clinics, young athletes will progressively develop skills in shooting, ball handling, passing, and defense, as well as learn the basics of basketball strategy. We also emphasize important skills such as teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship, all while keeping the focus on fun. Programs are tailored to different age groups: Tiny Hoopsers (ages 3–4) for our youngest players, and our Youth Program (ages 8–12), with children grouped by age or skill for safety and fair play.

Registration opens soon!

Non-Competitive Youth Basketball League
Our volunteer-coached basketball league is a fun and welcoming way for kids to get active, make friends, and learn the game. Each session, whether practice or game, lasts 45 minutes, keeping the energy high and the experience engaging.

Registration Opens September 1
