A 60 minute, gentle, yoga class for individuals recovering from, or working with, a long-term health diagnosis such as cancer, parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, or a similar challenge. Exploring a combination of mind-body practices to bring greater health and wellness into all levels of being. We will begin each practice in chairs and progress to standing poses, ending with a deep relaxation on the floor.

Through targeted breath, movement, and meditation, we will address the following side-effects in a supportive and non-clinical environment:

  • -Pain
  • -Lymphedema and Immunity
  • -Anxiety
  • -Depression
  • -Insomnia
  • -Under Digestion
  • -Fatigue
  • -Cognitive Fog
  • -Neuropathy

Jessie Lu Galbraith is an RYT 200 (registered yoga teacher) with a lifetime of practicing yoga and meditation. She has been focusing her continuing education on yoga for cancer, completing many hours of cancer specific pranayama, asana, mudra and yoga nidra training.

*Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, yoga block and strap.
