The Y makes the most of your child’s time before and after school by offering activities designed to engage and aid in youth development. The Y's before and after school programs blend a familiar and safe environment with new opportunities for physical activity, social connection, and experiential learning.
Nurturing Future Leaders
As a trusted pillar of our community, the Whatcom Family YMCA will be continuing our partnerships with local school districts to bring you our long standing Before and After School Enrichment Programs. BASE is the place where your K–5th (6th for MBSD) grade students will participate in daily activities that support the whole child while learning essential social emotional skills, outdoor play and SCALED LEARNING™ curriculum.
Online registration requires all fees paid at the time of registration. Those families currently using a third party subsidy are encouraged to call Victoria at 360 255 0585 to register over the phone.
Locations
Thanks to partnerships with local School Districts, the Y BASE programs operate inside school facilities. This provides children with a familiar and safe location for their time in our programs.
