Watch for Teen Leadership Camp opportunities coming early March 2019!

CREATING LASTING CHANGE

The Leaders in Training (LIT) and Junior Counselor Program provides an opportunity for young people to foster and grow their leadership skills both for in a camp setting. During the summer, young leaders learn about their own leadership style, how to lead and work in a team setting, communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.

Leaders-In-Training (LIT)

Leaders-In-Training will provide participants with training in how to use effective leadership skills throughout their lives and how to work effectively with children at camp and in many other settings.

During our LIT program, teens learn what great leaders do and say. Our LITs learn through leadership development workshops, service learning and hands on activities. The program makes time for camp fun like climbing the rock wall and swimming.

Our LIT Coordinators acts as a mentor to the participants as they are assigned to assist with Adventure Camp trail groups. Everyday our LITs come together to debrief and discuss what they have experienced and learned that day. LIT participants graduate the program with lifelong skills and lifelong friends.
