GIRLS ON THE RUN

Following social distancing guidelines, Girls on the Run will be meeting in small groups at local parks this fall to play games and explore trails.  Over the course of the program, girls in 3rd–6th grade develop essential skills to help them navigate their world.

The spring season culminates with the girls positively impacting their community through a service project and being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5k with their team. Participants will receive a Girls on the Run t-shirt and finisher’s medal for the 5K at the end of the season. We will be following the Washington State Safe Start plan, which will include mask wearing, physical distancing and no sharing of materials.

Girls on the Run is returning the week of March 29th. Stay tuned for spring program information. Join the Trail Snails or Trail Blazers to stay active all winter long!
