Parents who work outside the home need a trusted place for their children to be in the time between the school day and the work day. The YMCA Before and After School Enrichment program is that place for many families in our community.
Through a balanced approach to youth development, the Y offers activities, mentorship and academic support, helping kids to thrive throughout the school year.
When children enter the Before and After School Enrichment program, a whole other world of imagination and growth opens up to them. In addition to supplementing what they have learned in school, they participate in interactive learning models that engage critical thinking skills, get assistance with their homework from trained YMCA staff, have a chance to socialize with each other, and form long-lasting friendships that enhance their development, growth and self-confidence.
