The Y provides a safe positive and fun environment to learn, grow and thrive. Not only does the Y focus on teaching sports skills, but also working on creating teamwork and building friendships.
The Y offers a variety of skills clinic, Basketball, Teeball/Baseball and Soccer. Kids will work on catching, throwing, passing, trapping and shooting with occastional scrimmages to encourage teamwork & fun.
Offered through the Bellingham Program Center Youth Sports Programs. Available for online registration.

It’s not whether you win or lose; it’s how you learn the game. At the Y, kids develop all of their skills, from catching and dribbling to teamwork and sportsmanship.
Little Sports Programs
A soccer program teaching skills in passing, trapping & shooting.
A teeball/baseball program teaching skills in throwing, catching & hitting.
A basketball program teaching skills in passing, shooting & dribbling.
A flag football program teaching skills in plays, catching & throwing.

The Whatcom Family YMCA's Youth Sports program serves more than 2,000 youth every year, providing many kids with their very first experience with sports and teamwork. To continue serving our communities, we need your help.
Rain Out Policy
Youth Sports, particularly those taking place outdoors, may be cancelled in the case of inclement weather. If it is raining or the weather is questionable, please call the YMCA (Bellingham 360-733-8630, Ferndale 360-380-4911, Lynden 360-354-5000 or Sudden Valley 360-746-8444) after approximately 3:00 p.m. Monday - Friday or 8:30 a.m. Saturday to find out if games have been cancelled for the day. If possible cancelled games will be made up.
Rookies Sports Birthday Parties (Bellingham and Ferndale)
Ages 3-12. Celebrate your child's birthday with one hour of sports or dodgeball and one hour room rental for a party at the Y. (minimum 2 weeks notice)
